Today at school we watched some men do a hangi.

First they dug a hole with wood and rocks and put it on fire in which we didn't see.
Then they took the things out

     
This week we have done some blossom tree art.
I really enjoyed it.

In kowhai lately we have been doing work for our achievment books, I have done maths and a narrative story.


We have also been doing skipping before morning tea. I have enjoyed it this week.
 

This term we have been reading the book Fantastic Mr Fox.

The book is really exiting and I enjoy listening to Lorna red at feed'n reed

Starting folk dancing this week was fun.
I remember most of the dances.

This week I have enjoyed having Mrs De Vane as my teacher. With Mrs De Vane we did some lego art. That was my favourite thing to do with      Mrs De Vane.

 

Finally our piglet started to drink because we gave it some powder milk with a lambs bottle.It is so adorable!

It sure is cute.
On Monday night Dad brought home a piglet from the forest.
The story is.....dad was doing his job like usual and he saw the piglet climbing up a hill then the pig stopped climbing because he was struggling, so he grabbed the piglet and put it in his ute.
When Dad got home he took it out of the truck and the next minute all I could hear was SQUEEEEELING!!!!!!!!!
The only problem is he/she is not eating a thing, or drinking.
We are hoping to give it to our Auntie and Uncle that live on a farm and know what they are doing, because we want it to servive.
One more thing He/She is Really cute.

This week I enjoyed going to Te Ore Ore Marae.
My favourite thing at the Marae was the weaving.

Guess what!!
When we went shopping I got three new things.
After shopping we went to see Great Grandma
I showed her my new things and then we went back home.
That night I slept in Sophie's room we built a hut with her bunk and put blankets around the sides so it was warm and cosy. Then in the morning it was the first episode of What Now on TV.
We had pancakes for breakfast!!
The next day was school so we got a bit organised.
